Vocabulary lesson

So Hope and I are painting and talking about words. We talked about homophones (words that sound the same but are spelled differently) homonyms (words that are spelled the same and sound the same but mean differently), synonyms and antinyms. So I asked her what the name is for words that are spelled the same butare pronounced differently.

“A Gershwin” was her immediate response.

(As in “you say tomato, I say tom ah to …)

Poor child is like her father. Only funnier.
