what i haven’t learned
Tomorrow, I need to write about what I have learned this year. This thanks to Ben Yoskovitz
who is holding a group writing project.
However, there are some things that I haven’t learned.
1. If you use honey instead of oil when popping corn, will it pop? After all, they are the same color.
2. Why do some offices tend toward neatness, and evey space I’m in tends toward disorder. Is it me?
3. Digital refers to fingers and to numbers. Is this what allows us to think about things being high tech and high touch?
4. When I was in college, I dicovered that Atari game time was completely different than real time. Why does Internet time more closely resemble Atari time than clock time?
5. If we get wiser as we get older, how come I hear the word idiot more often than ever, and usually when I’m looking in the mirror?
6. When, exactly, do we grow up?
7. If the ideal list is ten items long, are shorter lists better than longer lists?
8. If podcasting is so easy, why don’t i have anything to say?
Come back later this week to find out what I have learned this year.

Great stuff lately, Jon.
I’m a mix (from “Community”
- I like working with the technology and I also like working with people. We’ll see what God has in store for us when we return to the States in June 2007.
And by the way, it’s not a bad thing to not grow up (in some areas!).

i always enjoy reading your posts jon. i have to echo #8. how much time did i spend on finding podcasting (netcasting) tools, applications, chapter creators, sound editing tools? i could have the best (free) tools yet find little to say.
